Hurlburt Field 1st Special Operations Wing to conduct EOD training on Jan. 31

HURLBURT FIELD — Residents near the Hurlburt Field Range might hear explosions and feel vibrations on Wednesday.

The 1st Special Operations Wing's Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team plans explosive demolition training between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Hurlburt Field Range.

Base officials say that high humidity and cloud coverage can make it seem like explosions are louder and closer than on clear days.
