Traffic alert: Eglin testing will require temporary road closures

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE — On March 20, drivers will experience delays as the 96th Test Wing conducts testing on the Eglin Range Complex.

This testing will require the temporary closure of U.S. 85 and 285, along with S.R. 293 and 123.

• Range Road 236 from Range Road 632 to Range Road 600
• Range Road 213 to Range Road 503 from State Road 87
• Range Road 234 from Range Road 636 to Range Road 253
• Range Road 211 from Highway 87 to Range Road 253
• Ranger Camp Road from Ranger Camp to Range Road 213
• State Road 123 from Range Road 628 to Highway 85
• Highway 85 from State Road 293 to McWhorter Ave/77th SF Way
• Highway 285 from State Road 293 to 43EN

According to base officials, the roads will only be closed for 90 minutes between 9 a.m. and noon. A backup mission is scheduled for March 21 between 9 a.m. and noon if needed.
